Beaten and raped by the road side,
Beautiful girl, only fourteen,
She couldn’t run, she couldn’t hide,
The worst thing I have ever seen.
Her blood flows across the sky,
Culprits in jail forever and more,
Punishment for them a lie,
The girl, just another whore.
Her parents grieve, the nation mourn,
Locals flock and cry,
Another crime for them to scorn,
It’s the day society did die.
She lays in her coffin, cold and bare,
Nothing but the wood she’ll ever know,
Her life now a nightmare,
Nothing achieved, nothing to show.
Fools cause the rest of us fear,
Bright eyes and a menacing walk,
If you ever see them come near,
Get away quick, fast as a hawk.
